Course Duration – 2 Years
The master of Physiotherapy offers a wide range of specializations to the students, enabling them to practice in their chosen area, engage in research and demonstrate efficiency in clinical and classroom teaching and training.It includes theoretical classes, Dissertation, research, and clinical exposure in various Outpatient departments (OPDs) and In Patient Departments (IPDs).
The primary focus of the course is to provide an integrated curriculum that combines academic and clinical study to provide the opportunity to use advanced, updated and evidence based physiotherapy evaluation, clinical reasoning, diagnosis and treatment techniques and to evolve the clinical reasoning and professional expertise in the field of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Sciences.
The Master of physiotherapy course curriculum has been provided by Saurashtra university & Every year Saurashtra university conducts an entrance test for admitting students for the M.P.T course.
Eligibility for the M. P. T. Course:
Students who have completed their B. P. T degree with minimum aggregate 50% score in B.P.T from a recognized university with mandatory 6 months internship are eligible for admission.
